I just saw something on Facebook stating that the Denton Animal Shelter was "extremely full" If you are in the market for a pet, check them out. You can be the best thing to happen to them. I've only had Duke for half a year, and I can't imagine not having him now.

If you don't need a new family member, tell your friends. They may need a new one.

Sadly, no matter where you are, the animal shelters are frequently "extremely full". If you are looking for a pet, you can go to a shelter, or, go to your local PetsMart or PetCo. Most of these stores donate space to volunteer groups, who themselves are even more overwhelmed than the shelters with cats and dogs.
