Historically these things can take right up until spring practice because there is summer school involved and they have to go through the NCAA clearinghouse etc...

Actually I have had a good vibe about this because typically you will hear in early summer (usually well before now) if a double signee decides to forgo the extra work and take the easier road to the juco...

Let's keep our fingers crossed ... he would make a NICE addition to the defense.

EDIT: I did see that he played in an all star game in Tyler in mid June:

1. Sarge will start. Chad will get time but not as a starter.

2. NT. There will be a rotation there but not sure with who. If Abbe is on the team, he will be the starter.

3. As I mentioned in an earlier, I expect a repeat for 2011 with Ryan playing about 98% of the downs, if not all. He has been very adamant about this.

4. Aaron/ Daryl

Austin and Linc will play lots of downs too at NT and 3.

This is all from somewhat of an educated guess.

I do think that Steele's selections give us a stronger team but he also presupposes fully recovered injuries which may not happen.
