Good info... it will be interesting on who they hire. Rice has a huge warchest of endowment money at their disposal but they have not been willing to let go of it in terms of athletics. I would think they could land a big time candidate IF he/she were given assurances that the funding would be there. Big hire for Rice and for C-USA.

I think the lack of access to the endowment led to Del Conte leaving for TCU. They may have a difficult time finding a "big-time" name to replace Greenspan.
