Conference mate Southern Miss already has 3 national top 50 DTs committed. We've got to pick up our game to compete with that.

Conference mate Southern Miss already has 3 national top 50 DTs committed. We've got to pick up our game to compete with that.

And they signed an absolute stud last year in Rod Crayton. He was offered by a lot of big schools based on his film but had offers taken away because teams were scared about his height and the fact that he lost half his foot in an accident, I think lawn-mowing.

As for Strong and Gambrell, at the risk of sounding like sour grapes, I think we have better recruits that we are in the hunt for. Gambrell was offered based on size but honestly his hudl film is pretty underwhelming. He's a big time project and Strong is more of a backup plan. Hurts to lose these guys, just not that bad.

Let's focus on JT Williams from Denton Guyer.
