Has Tony going to the Knicks:

Analysis: The Knicks have never shied away from taking a risk on a player. Mitchell has the upside of a top-10 pick, but he was in an awful situation in North Texas last season. With that in mind, his mediocre season might have been the best he could have done. He's an elite athlete and a terrific rebounder -- the Knicks could use both in its frontcourt.

Well, you can't sugar coat it...it was an awful coached season.

I think "in an awful situation" is a great way to summerize TM's entire experience last year:

1. The pressure of having the weight of an entire program on his shoulders (It's not like UNT as an athletic department has experience sheltering/prepping players for the type of attention he garnered throughout last year.)

2. Yes, there was diffululty with the coaching transition

3. The plague of injuries this team suffered

Seems that every time Mitchell is complimented, North Texas gets the bird.

Sorta the opposite of "every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."
