State of College Football
I think that's his point. If you put more money into basketball, i.e. NIL, you attract better coaching/talent. It just seems it might be a better ROI when you have 5-7 players you have to pay versus the numerous ones you would have to pay in football. -

Memphis beating #16 Ole Miss the other day was huge for them. If we somehow can pull that win off along with the UAB win, we might be able to get some votes... -

Would You Really Rather Talk NIL/Transfer Portal
I like this perspective. I feel like losing to a SBC team might be something that could hurt though. Although, to your point, not sure anyone will ever remember. For the people we really want to come to games, I think it does though. The casual college football fan barely even knows we exist. I think this game does more for NT fans we want to come see this team, but might not feel like it is worth it because they don't trust they can win.
