can you start posting links to the sites you are getting the info from?

I could but it's a pain in the derriere. I use four different sources of recruiting data and my browser doesn't like my using more than one at a time. Also, this information is compiled on a spreadsheet which is often accrued over several days.

Each source is good on interests, three are good on offers, and ratings are a real mixed bag.

Rivals and Scout are pretty thorough in compiling their interest list and 247 and ESPN iren't far behind. The problem is updating with additional interests and offers. That information has to come from the player and not everyone is diligent about reporting offers (and especially to all services). For example on Hollins, I went to 247 recruiting and North Texas was not listed as one of his interests nor was he listed on their offers. I went to Scout, com and found that, indeed, he had been offered.

Unless you are a member, or just happen to glean from the information that is not hidden, Rivals is not a source for offers. But, they are very good at updating commitments. Still, some will go to the Rivals website, see the recruits' listing of North Texas, and assume that the interest listing means that we have offered.

The other three are very good with offers. 247 has a separate list for every FBS team (expanded to include FCS this year). If you click on the recruits name in Scout you will get a list of his interests and whether or not he has received an offer ESPN has a similar reporting with a checkmark by those offered. An additional source of offers is Vito's blog which I take as gospel regardless of what appears on the recruiting websites.

Here are the four sources of recruiting data:

http://247sports.com/

http://www.rivals.com/

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/index

http://recruiting.scout.com/

I will endeavor to give at least one reference with each posting but it would be good for others to learn to navigate those websites as well. They could check the accuracy of what I've reported and maybe find some additional information on other recruits as well.
