I don't think there's enough room on our helmets to incorporate both.

UNT on the helmets and North Texas on the jerseys (OLD Scrappy on the pants). Incidentally, everyone I talk to under thirty, including high school and other college kids, refer to us as UNT. It has caught on and we need to use it.

The more we use UNT the more it will be recognized. No one seems to have a problem with UTA instead of Arlington State. The USC example is a good one.

Of course, in LA most people don't say USC (which was a surprise to me when I moved). Just SC is most common term I hear.
