Eric...always stirring the pot for the usual suspects? Ha! I am betting there might be a similar post on a certain other site as well. Be careful, you might be accused of throwing red meat to the lions at the zoo. Somewhere Harry is smiling as so many hits...so many hits! Is Harry paying you some sort of bonus to keep stoking the fire?

Well played..well played.

I don't blame their fans for this. Wake Forest had a coach, Dino Gaudio, that got them to the NCAA Tournament, but then fired him so that they could hire Jeff Bzdelik from Colorado. Never mind that Bzdelik had never done anything at Colorado. After he left CU, they hired Tad Boyle, who has gotten CU to the postseason in every season he has been there. Meanwhile, Wake Forest has become a has been in the ACC, never making the NCAA tournamnet after years of being there under Dave Odom, Skip Prosser, and Dino Gaudio. Their AD totally killed their basketball program from its lofty standards.

Sounds... Sorta familiar?

"Demand Accountability"......hmmmm, sounds familiar.

On a similar note, anyone here attend the 1984 Bluebonnet Bowl at Rice Stadium between Texas and Air Force? I was there and it was awesome. Not simply for the fact that the Falcons were whipping the shit out of Texas running their triple option offense up and down the field, but that after halftime a plane flew a huge banner overhead that read "Fire Fred!!!", as in Texas head coach Fred Akers. As much as I dislike tU I gained some respect for their fanbase that day.

Accountability....it has a nice ring to it.

Rick.

So how exactly would you feel if someone did this to you....? You all act as if you are the best at your job amd also somehow the best at other people's (ie basketball coach). Let's get rea and try to support the team for upcoming year and see what happens!

When coaches sign that 300k plus contract (or, at Texas, $3 milion plus contract), they know they are signing up for huge public criticism if they do not meet or exceed expectations.

A certain coach at UNT may have set a new lower on the fail to meet expectations meter. He's his luckt he is coaching ar UNT, because he wouldn't still be employed ar ANY other FBS university.

If he doesn't like it, I for one would have no problem accepting his resignation.
