Not having backwards compatibility is just planned obsolescence and another way for the x box and other consoles to make more $$$$$. Like TTG said i have games that i have bought the games plus the maps packs. Now I can't use them on the new console. I wonder if PC gaming will take back off if consumers aren't happy with either the x box one or ps4.

This is what we are talking about... O brother. I thought I was old at 26 to be playing vide games and i am working on putting it away. We have 30 and 40 year olds playing video games like crazy.... Now my eyes are open I suppose.... Stick to the idoit box.

Who exactly do you think they target with games like Modern Warfare and Assassin's Creed? It ain't 10 year olds.

Pc gaming is already seeing somewhat of a revival. The problem with pc gaming compared to console is the hacking availability in the pc world.

As these consoles try to push toward an all in one option, the closer to pc competition they get. They are going to find themselves competing with valve, who might very well put them both out of business.

Wouldn't it be awesome if robots played baseball and instead of safe/out calls at each base, the robots fought each other?

Whichever console puts out Base Wars, I'm buying that one.

I always liked the old Footbrawl on Genesis. Basically Vikings running around with a football punching each other.
