I did. He WAS overated and not at starter at Kansas. Did you read something different? SMU is where he would like to go but the Ponies said no. So it wasn't just people here. Kid is not a bad player. He was ranked the #1 8th grader in the country. He was offered as a freshman. He committed as a soph. The Kansas fans didn't even see enough of the kid before he decided to come home. Kansas only recruits All-American players. If you are a Kansas fan why wouldn't you feel that all Bill Self recruits can play. Baylor, SMU and TCU are just as close to Plano as Denton. He has been cleared to play since January when all these schools had available scholarships. I welcome him to Denton (if this is where he would like to play) because he would contribute. He isn't the major college talent that Kansas saw in him as a freshman/sophomore. Nothing more, nothing less...

Fair enough, but at this point if he can play immediately and stay healthy I would take him in a heart beat. Not a lot of other options left...I have not heard about Thomas and I do not want the FIU reject. Bail is out of our League so time is running out.

Please let this rumor be true. I believe that Peters will be a feast or famine type of player for us. At this point, we need to take a few risks.

I just hope he is healthy enough to actually stay on the floor.
