I don't think these guys have really thought this out at all. What/who are they trying to represent here? Law abiding gun owners? It's legal to openly carry in Virginia, but it's not in DC, once they step into DC they are breaking the law. Agree with it or not, the law is the law. I just can't wrap my head around this, are these people just trying to cause a conflict, trying to be martyrs for the bullshit belief they have that someone is trying to take their guns away? I don't really get it.

Yep...this is dumb. But, so are all the illegal immigrant marches...those folks are breaking the laws as well, but there seem to be no consequences for their actions. So, why not this "dumb" group as well? Just yesterday in Dallas several illegal immigrants were interviewed on TV during the "March"...no repercussions at all...at least they were smart enough to all be carrying US flags and not those of Mexico this time around...now that WAS dumb.

Dumb is dumb...no matter which side of the political spectrum or which side of the gun debate you might be supporting. This march will have no more impact than the one in Dallas had yesterday. But, hey, they get to feel like they are accomplishing something...just keep the thing peaceful.

They are TRYING to get areested to being attention to the DC gun laws. That is the point.

Failed plan, thoigh. This isn't a leftist demonstration, so there won't be any sympathetic interviews of those arrested by police. There will only be interviews of leftist saying what a dangerous and reckless attack on the American way that this demonstration represented.

It won't be like tge illegal immigrant demonstrations at all.

Stupid, but, understandable once I saw the word "libertarian" attached to it. If anyone overreacts more than Republicans and Democrats, it's Libertarians.

It would be best for society if the Libertarians would follow through on their threats to go build an Ayn Rand-society on an island somewhere. You'd think with all the wealth they claim to be able to amass, they'd put it altogether and go buy an island and leave.

Go on, libertarians, pool your money, buy an island, and leave. Take your guns, your drugs, your 138% trust in free market capitalism free from any restraint.
