Toss up between Patterson, Briles, and Sumlin.

Patterson had a jump start, thanks to Fran, so he is out.

Sumlin has the resources at A&M that the other 2 don't have, plus he is kind of a disciple of Briles?

So, give me Briles.

Had not seen this...thanks, Harry. Mac got my vote. I am a member of the Mean Green Nation and Mac is our coach. No other possible vote for me. I join Harry in thanking those who support our coach in this vote!

As big a homer as I am, there is no way I would even consider voting for McCarney. I hope he can be considered for such things in the future, but no way now.

These things are a popularity contest. No one's hooking you up to a lie detector. Go vote where your allegiance lies and get it over with.

One thought here...should Mac win this vote, it might just give the Dallas Morning news a "hint" that they should give UNT a tad more coverage...since so many fans voted for Mac.

Good grief! Why not let the man earn it first. He has an overall losing record. Let him have several impressive winning seasons at UNT first before we all embarrass ourselves by promoting mediocrity.

Let him do it the old fashion way. Earn it!!
