They pushed athletics heavily at orientation 3 years ago. They took everyone to Apogee and were hardcore about it when my girlfriend had orientation 2 years ago.

I believe that program continues today...that's the Athletic dept. working with Student Affairs.....

It's obvious that President Rawlins is trying to pad the stats and fill trouble spots with JUCO's during his last days on the job. Lets just wait until the new President is announced and he is able to bring in his recruits and put his system in place.

More freshmen than undergraduate transfers. And at transfer orientation you learn the claw, alma mater, and the fight song. I attended three years ago.

Thanks for clearing that up. I don't think the "more transfers than first-timers" stat has ever been correct in the last 14 years. Plus, the recruiting process is vastly different from when I was here as a freshman in 2000 to right now. Heck, it's been different since Apogee opened, both for transfer and freshman students.
