No ULL and ASU to CUSA doesn't kill the Belt, it kills the barely interesting CUSA and any remaining enthusiasm most have for it.

The teams we wanted to get away from in the Belt are already in C-USA, and we've got additional moveups to boot. I'm not really screaming for them to be added, but at this point ASU and ULL do nothing to dilute the overall attraction of the league.

Of course it's up to the other members of the conference, but CUSA would be better for North Texas and the other western division schools if both Arkansas State and Louisiana were to join. The two 8 team divisions would nurture close rivalries, the value of which would more than offset any possible conference distribution reductions.
