C-USA's next expansion move? (POLL)

I chose stay put, at least until someone actually leaves. Tulsa might be gone, but the A-whatever is NOT the same conference that got ECU and Tulane.

If Tulsa leaves then the best geographic fit is ASU, followed by UL. Western is a good program, but adding them hurts the divisions which hurts every other member of the conference. It especially hurts the western members. The newbies get votes on this so why would UTEP, UTSA, Rice, LaTech and us want to replace Tulsa with Western and hurt themselves?

Are we sure newbies get votes, I mean we are not effectively in the conference until July 1 right?

As I stated in another thread: stay put. I think Navy will reneg on the noname conference, and then we might loose USM or someone else. at that point we'd be at 12, which is not all bad. If we want top add 2 then, at least C-USA will know what the landscape looks like.

But I fear Bankowsky is too antsy to wait. Still one can hope he learnt from his previous mistakes when he backfilled to fast to allow for any chance for any of the departing schools to come back.
