I'm torn....was he good...ya...I think...but I didn't see near enough game changing/takeovers that he should have done in the belt. He had a ton of blocks...double teams...goal tends...and I don't know how great he was here at north Texas. Was it be fords fault....his fault....not sure. So he is leaving...cool...not a big deal to me.

North Texas accomplished plenty before him and will do the same after him...

You know Thor, it was a Catch 22 for Tony in regards to his play here. If he had dominated the Belt, critics would say something like " you can't judge him by that, look at the level of most of the talent in that conference".

Give me three competent D1 college players and I'll shut down Russell Westbrook.

People really needed to pay attention to what was going on with this team off the ball offensively this year.

You know at the beginning of the year, teams were overplaying Tony; but later he was not facing much more than the average center when he is close to the basket.

Many teams effectively played him one to one for most of the game. They basically denied him the lob and put backs, but were more than willing for him to get the ball ten feet from the basket. Problem was that Tony generally played for a dunk or a three.

If you watch the replays from the last half of the season, you won't see too many teams smothering him like they did earlier.

I wish him well, but he really hurt himself this past season. Dropping from 2nd team pre season All American to 2nd team Sun Belt must have scouts scratching their heads.

Nah. Once he gets into workouts and gets decent coaching he'll climb draft boards.

What a sad ending....KNTU did not cover his press conference, nor did the great North Texas athletic department. So sad, but it seems an appropriate ending. Good luck to Tony...hope you have the last laugh.
