This might have been posted before, but I haven't seen it. Sorry if I'm double posting. I looked up the distance between UNT and the other programs in C-USA West. Here is what I found:

UNT to Tulsa: 213 miles

UNT to Rice: 260 miles

UNT to LA Tech: 265 miles

UNT to UTSA: 274 miles

UNT to UTEP: 554 miles

4 out of 5 isn't bad.

I've always wanted to see a game at Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It's a long way. 526 miles according to yahooMaps. I've never been there but I'm hoping they have something akin to the game day experience found at Ole Miss or Mississippi State. Southern Miss had a terrible season last year. Their "Anyone, anyplace" mantra caught up to them last season. I hope we can catch them while they are having a "non-Southern Miss" like season.

It ought to be. Otherwise, what would be the incentive to fly to El Paso.

A ticket to El Paso is always more expensive than it should be and after years living in EP, you are correct, there is really no incentive to go there unless to watch a game. Even the Bleacher Report nailed that one last season.

If you do go, get ready for some really narrow minded, moronic, fat, drunken, uneducated, non UTEP alumni fans which believe the world ends at Loop 375, talking trash in really poor Spanglish at every corner of the city if you are spotted in opposing team apparel. However, look on the bright side, fat girls on the Sun Bowls surrounding cliffs are known to give handies, even on TV. (Serious, the video doesn't lie.)
