Wyoming Defeats Air Force....and Army's Next Four Games (before our game with them)
Probably been noted elsewhere.....but Wyoming beat Air Force 31-19. And....Army is 4-0...... Their next four games before they come to Denton on 11/9: At Tulsa UAB at home. East Carolina at home. Air Force at home. Hoping like crazy....that Army is 8-0 and ranked when they come to Denton...... -

Good Game for Caponi and the Defense
Yes! Making this alignment shift seems to have allowed the players to read and react much quicker. The extra LB out there has helped set the edge more consistently. Credit to the defense yesterday. They played well and definitely kept us in the game while the offense was sputtering early. Was really nice to see. Big improvement on that side of the ball these last two games. Credit to the players and coaches for making the change. -

Good win, happy for the team. Would not expected this outcome after that terrible start. As the great @MeanGreenWithEnvy said “This is the most un 4-1 team I could imagine for this season. They’re mercurial.” Perfectly sums up how I think about this team. My best guess is that we will beat the weaker teams on the schedule but we make too many mistakes to beat the better teams in the conference. Could easily end up 8-4 and then end up losing a bowl game to a strong opponent. (wait a sec…that sounds really familiar…) -
