I'm going to disagree on Hunter being a lock. He's incredible but looking at the offensive side specifically, Colorado was loaded at the receiver position. You couldn't double team any one guy without another punishing you. Wester had nearly 900 yards and 10 TDs on 70 receptions. Sheppard is another who had 600 years and 6 TDs. Teams were putting 10 in the box to stop Jeanty. -

Some college football head coaches struggle with the NIL and Portal era...and give it up
It's a job for the coaches; real employment, real contracts that provide an out for both parties. It's not employment for players (yet). A free education was their exchange for playing. They could always change schools anytime too. It's time to make player employees, that can be fired. Let them pay for their education and medical premiums too, now that they are all zillionaires!
