I spend a lot of time debating with the one and only Stephens defender that good coaches don't end up with a lot of discipline issues I have no idea what Alzee's transgression was, but setting a key player out of an elimination game hurts the team and school as much as the player I never thought Alzee was anything but a team player, but apparently that has not been the case this year.

So the 2 times Tony Mitchell had disciplinary issues he was forced to sit out the first few minutes of game. Anyone else and it's a whole game.

Maybe they did different things , but seems to be a lack of consistency from the coach's end

I have no idea what each issue was , just seems odd to me

Maybe the coach needs a little discipline? As in taking the time to spend the off-season with someone who knows their stuff and learning how to head coach this game.

When we're a perennial ten win team playing to raucous crowds of 2,000 or fewer I certainly will have learned my lesson.

This is the defense of every coach that isn't winning. It was the Dodge defense (he is doing it right, Dickey left a mess, at least our players are wholesome Americans), it has been Mac's defense (everything was terrible when he got here, but at least we get good grades now). And now you use it in defense of Benford (ya, JJ left him the most talented team in school history, but JJ obviously didn't care about these kids because he let them run wild. Never mind that there wasn't a discipline issue last year, the players just never got caught or JJ covered it up).

Just a loser's excuse.
