Kid was a 5-star DE according to Scout/4-star according to Rivals. Redshirted in 2011. OU moved him from DE to OL...at 248 pounds? He didn't play any in 2012.

Two year remaining on this guy after he sits out a year. From Spring Klein Oak. Wonder if the school he transfers to will put him back on the defensive side of the ball.

There's been a number of kids leaving OU recently. Mac has had no problem going after transfers so it will be interesting to see if he lands any this year.

It's hard to criticize OU when we've been guilty of shifting posititions ourselves. But, we don't have the choices of talent that they have and we are forced to improvise. I'd love to have this young man at his position of choice and I'd guess that he could win a starting job.

I'd say get him back to DE and I guarantee he will be among our top 3 at that position. He would settle in nicely after Sarge departs.
