" In the past two years, 16 schools have left or announced they were leaving the Big East."

Wow.

Also, with the media rights dead that Fox Sports has promised the Big East (the real Big East, not the football schools) being three million per school each year, that means they'll walk away with a more lucrative deal than the remaining football schools, no?

For once, the conference dominos seem to have fallen in North Texas' direction. I'm happy with CUSA. I wish Tulane would stay and I hope that Tulsa will stay. And I wish Houston was back. As far as any other school formerly in CUSA, I'm glad they're gone.

I agree. I'd only want Tulane around to keep Tulsa and Rice happy, not to mention that N.O. is a nice place to visit. Too bad CUSA jumped the gun and added a couple of schools that I wish they hadn't.

Such as? Rice is not going anywhere, but Tulsa is Big Least bound.Marshall pushed hard for both F_U's, as did ECU for UNC@C and ODU in an attempt to build up the Eastern Division. With our overall losing record in the Belt ,I don't think we can look down our nose at anyone. We all know that if SMU was still in CUSA,we wouldn't be.
