This was a nice win for the ladies on senior night. It is the first time since the 2005-06season that the women have finished .500 in conference play and it snapped a 5-game home losing streak. A sweep over ASU for the season as well.

Hopefully, this will give the ladies some momentum heading into the tournament.

Nice win ladies!!!

we're #6 atm, w/ Florida Atlantic and South Alabama a half-game back at 9-10. If FAU beats FIU then we slide to 7th since they swept the series. I don't know how tie-breakers work if USA beats Troy and we're both 10-10. We can finish no lower than 8th, which means we get LaLa, Monroe, or Troy in the first round.

from the Belt website:

TWO TEAM TIE‐BREAKING FORMULA FOR DETERMINING TEAMS SEEDED 3 THROUGH 11
A. Won‐lost record of head‐to‐head competition between the two teams.
B. Winning percentage of each team vs. the first‐seeded team.
C. Winning percentage of each team vs. the second‐seeded team.
D. * This process continues with winning percentage vs. the third‐seeded team, fourth‐
seeded team, etc., as necessary, until the tie is broken and seeding is complete.
E. If a tie still exists, the tie will be broken by a coin flip by the Commissioner.

We were both swept by Middle and since, per Belt seeding procedures, the West division winner automatically gets seed #2, we can finish no lower than 7th. In the event we do "tie" with South Alabama, we will get the nod because

1) if UALR wins the west, we split with them while USA was swept

2) if Arkansas State wins the west, we swept the Red Wolves while USA split

I'm gonna go ahead and guess that we finish 7th in the Belt and play either Troy or Louisiana
