couple of close matches with #6 in the 3rd set.

Not a bad showing for the ladies and they won the doubles point.

Should give them confidence with Ga Tech coming up

**

I think what is missing for the ladies to push them into the Top 30-40 teams is a super #1 and #2 players. The team has the depth for sure to compete, but gets exposed at the top by teams with ranked players in the Top 3, similar to yesterday,

I look at a team like Rice, their #1 last year got hot at CUSA Tournament and then extended it into NCAA Tournament, beat an All-American (Ole Miss) to help the team make Final 16.

If Lama could land that 5* recruit or Top ITF Level player the team would break the Top 40 ceiling.

Regardless well done to the ladies and they have a bright future as long as future recruits can break in the line-up as freshmen, only disappointment this year is that all 4 FR are lower end, would have been nice to see 2 of them playing Top 4, but that is also a good thing that your upperclassmen are improving.

Agree....seniors have upped their games from last year and are solid, but we haven't been able to win at the top spots against the really good teams. Of course our #1 player is just a sophomore so that may come with a couple of more years of experience. The freshmen really need to improve to take over the spots of the three seniors who are currently playing at the number 2, 3, and 4 slots. The good thing is that most of Coach Llama's girls do improve every year. But having a really top recruit would make a big difference.

Wind conditions against TCU were terrible so it is difficult to know whether or not either team played to its true ability. Upcoming matches against more ranked teams will be a good test of where we stand before conference play begins.

Ga Tech showing they are much better than their ranking, they did just lose to #5 GA 4-3.

Smack down at #1 and #3 8-0

Already cruising in a couple of singles matches.

GaTech's #2, 3, 4 are Freshmen and handing it to our 3 SR's

All 3 are American Blue Chip Recruits

The team snuck by Miami, OH. I hope it was just a letdown after the Ga Tech match.

Big matches coming up with Tulsa and Wichita St. Tulsa will be a tough nut to crack, they are not great but very deep and will keep you on the court and they just demolished USA 7-0, Wichita State is down some this year so that is a must win to keep ranking in the 40's.

Sneak opponent will be ULM on 3/16 probably battle for #1 seed for Belt Tournament.

in some ways outside the Top 16 it does not matter, but it does matter as they select the teams and their pods and place them #1-4, so being in the 40's would be a huge boost, last year the ladies got a #3 seed, but drew the toughest #2 seed in Nebraska.
