What Makes Day 1 Fun

Just an observation from walking through NT this morning:

There are two things that make the first day of the Fall fun. One is seeing the people you last say in May, but the best thing is laughing at the Freshmen and transfer students who haven't figured out that we have one-way streets yet.

Like FFR recently stated, I, too, am so darn jealous of all you present day UNT students!

You all are in Mean Green Country at a time it is on the threshold of more growth and greatness and as students you all can make such a difference with so many things you can do on that campus to influence so many others who just need a gentle nudge, a little inspiration to become full fledged Greenbackers.

You can always tell the freshmen because they are the ones in the Shiny New Clothes , all the returning students woke up at 7:50 said "crap, I have an 8:00 class", threw whatever was on the floor on, and ran to class... the ones who went to the first day anyway.

Well I missed my first class of the year. Eight is just too early. I too noticed how you can spot a freshman a mile away because of the nice clothes. I was also able to spot hott girls a mile away, and that is my favorite thing about the start of a new school year.

That's funny...when I first saw this thread I was gonna write about being able to pick out the freshman cause they are all dressed nice!!! (and carrying maps and brand new umbrellas even though the rain stoped at like 8am!!)
