The new.barefoot store has a good amount of merchandise....not sure about their online stuff though....hell...don't even know their website.

The Academy in Lewisville has some good Nike stuff. I recently bought two shirts there. One is green that states in big, bold letters "Man Up" with the SOW in the corner. The other is white and states "Blood, Sweat, Mean Green." Pretty cool, and they have other stuff as well.

GO MEAN GREEN!

Odd to have girls modelling the mens clothes. Makes me think they're all girls clothes.

Nope...men's, women's and kids...great looking shop, and they are interested in "doing stuff" with UNT. Go by and check them out...nice folks!

Blood Sweat Mean Green? Sounds sweet. Don't want to drive to Lewisville, though. Waiting for the Flying Worm shirt, not buying anything else atm!

I appreciate any ideas y'all have. Ever try to find NT gear in Bryan/College Station? Yeah... yeah... :thumbsd:

I grew up in Houston. I've found some at college outfitters or sports stores at malls, like Fanattic at Memorial City but very basic stuff.

I wanted Lids in the mall here to atleast carry a hat or two. They have SHSU and Rice for goodness sake.

Ask them. Take printouts of the NT stuff on the LIDS website with you. You never know until you ask.

Who carries all-weather jackets anymore. Even the store at Apogee doesn't have much there. Also, is Mean Green Club apparel still available anywhere?

I went to the Hatworld in Denton (which is owned by lids) and they only had three different UNT hats. Then I drove to Grapevine, where there is a large Lids and they only had three... Hell, even online I think they had 5 different styles. Sadly, they do not love us.

Lids used to carry quite a few hats for us back in the bowl days, but you see what it is now. All the myths about NT apparel flying off the shelves when it's available are just that, myths. If you want to be especially depressed, look at the UTSA selection of hats on Lids.com. Then look at the Texas State-San Marcos selection.

Sort of reflects number who say they would buy stuff vs the number who really do as well. If stuff sold at any pace at all, more retailers would carry UNT stuff. This is now and always has been a "chicken or the egg" sort of thing. If you want to see how this really plays out...even in Denton...then watch and see if the new UNT apparel shop just off the square in Denton is successful or not. They do a great business in Stephenville (Tarleton State). let's see if UNT folks support them here in Denton. These folks have taken the time and expense to open a shop dedicated to UNT and TWU apparel, and they are trying to get relationships built within the community and on campus. Will UNT and it's "fans" do more than talk about buying UNT apparel? We'll see...sure hope so. I have been to the shop and already spent some cash with them. Thanked them for being here and offered to help any way I could around town and campus.

What about you? Been to the shop yet?

Talk won't pay the light bills. You want folks to carry and produce UNT "stuff"...support those that do with your pocketbook. Sort of put up or shut up time for the UNT fan base in this area.

Not exactly college station, but I will say I did find a rather nice selection of Mean Green T-shirts at a Fanz here in Austin.
