That game was a perfect example of why America doesn't like soccer. Complete snooze fest

America likes "Big Bang Theory", "The Bachelor" and shows about pawn shop owners.

America likes "cheese" in an aerosol can.

America likes to drive massive SUVs and bitch about gas prices.

America can be pretty stupid.

You just leave "cheese" in an aerosol can out of your little rant. Bastard.

I used to enjoy gomeangreen.com until you mentioned "Big Bang Theory". It's people like you that ruin this site for me.

I had somehow missed this, but Stuart Holden is back...he made 3 substitute appearances for Bolton beginning back on the 15th of January...he was then loaned out Sheffield Wednesday at the end of March for the remainder of the season where he has made 2 starts and should see regular time as Sheffield Wednesday fight to stay out of the relegation zone in the ELC.

This might be hoping against hope, but it might still be possible for Holden to find a place in the national team. Sheffield Wednesday have 5 more matches this year...the last being May 4...if Holden finds regular time and performs well he then may be able to secure a loan move to the MLS for the summer months, before returning to Bolton or another English side when the English season resumes in early August.

The hexagonal resumes for 3 matches in June...no way he finds his way back by then...but the last 4 matches are 2 in September, 2 in October...if Holden can get summer work to regain form and fitness he could be an intriguing and perhaps much needed infusion of creativity for the Yanks.
