Kidsy had 35 receptions for 400 yards and four touchdowns as a
junior, breaking out with 11 touchdowns to go with 669 yards on 33
receptions this past season. He also averaged 33 yards on kickoff
returns and 18 yards on punt returns.

Kidsy, who plans to study petroleum engineering with a
minor in kinesiology, selected North Texas due to a good impression
from coach Dan McCarney and the Mean Green’s move to Conference USA in
2013. With his scholarship signed, Kidsy is eager for his future.

“It’s a countdown,” Kidsy said. “It’s a grind and I’ve got to stay focused. This isn’t it. This is the beginning.”

I don't think anybody offers a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering.

I stand corrected. There is one school that does--Marietta College in Ohio.

We don't but the Aggies do, and it's one of the best. Had a friend from HS who did it.

North Texas does offer a degree in Energy Engineering. Perhaps that's what he meant.

  Transfer portal is killing P4 as well as G5
  
  I'll admit to not knowing most of the rules of the TP, but why would someone opt out of the playoffs simply because they are a 3rd string player on a team in the playoffs unless they simply want to stop practicing? Obviously, if the team makes a long run into the playoff, it may reach the admission window at which time you'd have to quit. All but 4 teams will be done by Jan 1. However, most every school I've looked into, the final day for transfer application for Spring is much earlier than then opening of the TP, i.e. November 1. Are TP players not entering their next school until fall? On that note, I may have misinterpreted it, but I recently posted some info regarding UCBerkley transfer rules and one of them was that they ONLY accept transfers in the fall. I suspect that is getting waived for FB players. Maybe I'm missing the subtle difference between application window and admission window???
