Sorry, I wasn't very clear about what I meant.

I feel like Benford will be given a chance as an assistant, rebuild his rep, and given a second chance someday as a HC.

Well, first choice is that he performs a miracle and turns it around quickly at NT. I still think he will have a hard time selling his self as a head coach if he is fired here even after being a successful assistant again. He is going to pegged as the guy who had a loaded team at NT and failed. Assuming he does not turn it around here and wants to be a hc again, his best bet would be to drop down and seek a hc job at the juco or small college level and demonstrate he is capable and work up from there.

Just Incase anyone was wanting to know , UAH lost in the South Reginal final vs Florida Southern 90-88 earlier this week

UAH beating us is just like us beating Ball St. in football a couple of years ago. It seemed like a really good win at the time, but as the season progressed and we saw just how bad Ball St. (or UNT to UAH fans) was, the win lost A LOT of its luster.

But, it's good to know that we may have been able to advance to the round of 16... In the D2 tournament.

Thanks coach.
