This offense goes nowhere if there are constantly 9 in the box on running downs. Better play at QB and WR is a MUST for us to make a marked improvement on offense.

The line was good last year, but when you are blocking almost 2 on 1, you ain't gonna go nowhere.

Dang, there you go knocking the players again...it's always the players fault with you!

The positive side to this signing class is that I don't have to ask the ol' Clara Pellar question like I did during the Dodge days.

WR recruit is to Dodge what OL recruit is to McCarney?

Agree.

Plus, I can't stress enough....in passing situations, if the play breaks down......having a QB that can move the chains with his feet can't be overlooked.

3rd and 12 that turns in to a 1st down because the QB ran for it is frustrating for a defense and can wear them down....

and this offense has seen its share of 3rd and longs....

With the log jam at O line, I wonder if Micah Thompson would be higher on the D line depth chart.

-He was moved to the O line from his DT position. He's now 6'4" 310 lbs.

Just a thought...

I like the O-Line. I hope our recruiting news tomorrow doesn't send me back to doom and gloom. I'm predicting seven wins next season. I'm optimistic too(up to a point.)

      Athletic Center Expansion Plans

      My question is why can't we do a smaller version of what Ok. St. did? Emphasis on the smaller here. Why is there a large gap underneath the expansion in the 2nd phase renderings? The expansion just hangs in the air over nothing. There is a lot of valuable space to the sides, underneath, and vertically that you could take advantage of.

      Athletic Center Expansion Plans

      Agreed. Looks cheap and half-assed. Seems weird, but sometimes an end-zone complex can make or break the overall feel of a stadium. This one breaks it. I always thought the original placement of the athletic center in relation to the stadium was odd and was going to be problematic for any meaningful improvement. Maybe the architects were given instructions to keep the windows (AD/Coaches offices?) with a view of the field? If this is it, I'd just leave it the way it is until it can be done right/better.
