I know a few officers on the board and want to say thank you for your service and putting your lives on the line.

My local city lost a young officer Friday, from injuries suffered while doing traffic control for an accident. I am not in PD but as a city employee considered him a co-worker, as I assist PD and FD in my daily work schedule on a regular basis.

Very sad for all parties involved but especially for the family and PD. Met the young man a few times briefly whenever he ventured to city hall.

Thanks again for all of your PD and FD.

I second your comments. Very sorry to hear of this young officer's death. Sad indeed. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
