We'll just have to agree to disagree. Both of them passed through Denton and seem grateful for the opportunities afforded them. I have an interest in them, with UNT ties, no matter how they leave. This even makes it okay for me to see occasional updates about players that transfer out of UNT, too.

GMG.com has scripted accounts that automatically import every thread from the CUSA board. It's been crowding my "New Content" page with 10+ threads every day for over a year. I don't understand why I have to do this well before we are actually in the conference, but I do and have no problem with it. Surely a JJ update once or twice a week doesn't irk you so bad?

<3 this board. Harry, Evan and co can do what they want with it. If I ever feel so bothered that some convenience or consistency is being violated, and I have to be vocal about it, I'll go create my own board with my own rules.

This drove me nuts as well.

To exclude those forums from your "View New Content" page, you just go down the options on the far left column of the screen. Under the sections for filter "By content type" and filter "By time period", there is an "Other" list. Click "Filter by forum", and you can un-click any sub-forums you don't want to have popping up in your "View New Content" results.

I do not miss Coach Bill Lewis or The Commish.

Also note- this is how you do it on the full version. Not sure you can change those settings on the mobile version... If you only surf on your phone, switch to full version (bottom left corner) long enough to make the filter change, and the results will still be excluded in mobile version forum usage.

Well when we were in the Belt we had the feed just to keep up with Belt related subjects... when we officially were invited into C-USA it made sense to have that site feed as well... so there's been some overlap issues no doubt.

My plan was to close up shop with the Belt board feed after basketball season but I may just go ahead and do that sooner. I also think there is a way to pull the C-USA feed out of the view new content page so I will look at doing that as well.
