funny because if this was regarding football everyone would be fine with it.

If you can't see the difference in where our football program is and where our basketball program is was then you should probably just stick to following tennis.

I am not saying Benford is the man, which right now it is not good, but double standards are fun.

Interesting. You act as if anyone who can't see the gaping hole that Todge left is a moron. Yet, you can't seem to see the absolute Christmas gift of a roster that Benford was left with. You like Mac. We get it. But recognize your own blind spots.

I can't believe anyone cannot see the difference in the program Benford inherited versus McCarney.

Second while the players certainly are as responsible for the record as the coaches, the thought that the way out of this is to keep Benford and get rid of the players is monumental stupidity.

Less see this team has 1 five star rated athlete and a handful of 3 stars. Remember before JJ's last class (MItchell, Williams, Jones), he had signed one three star hs player in his career at NT, Thompson. Now all these highly rated players can't play according to some and a first head coach should be given years to right the ship.

Assuming the players that NT should get rid of does not include seniors or Mitchell who odds are will not be here, let look at the rest that NT should jettison:

Jones - Let the league in assists and ppg before he was disqualified last year. Played through injuries this year before finally being judged unable to play.

J. Williams - Of late, the best player on team per Benford; Looks like a great player for the rest of his career

A. Williams - The most consistent for two years of any NT players, A high energy guy who saved the season last year and is having another good year

Hardwick - Great looking freshman point, who has guts and give his all.

Coleman - Physically imposing but underwhelming this far. May be a project but at his size maybe worth it

Outlander - Tweener who lack speed for guard and size for inside but plays hard and if he can get his outside shoot going has a future

Walton - Another hard working player and best outside shooter

Taylor - Who knows

Yes, lets get rid of all these players and replace them with what are surely to be for the most part; lightly recruited players. Why in the world does anyone assume Benford is going to be able to recruit better players after this year's record.
