I'm not sure what Larry is basing his opinion on but he needs to come see the improvements to downtown Dallas in terms of museums, performance halls, transportation, parks, etc. Houston is a great city but so is Dallas. Depends on what you're looking for.

When the Trinity River Lake and all of its improvements are completed Dallas should move to the forefront much as San Antonio did with its Riverwalk.

I've never understood Houston jealousy and hatred towards Dallas.

Pro football, light rail, downtown residential; Dallas did so many things before Houston that they've always felt like "Dallas is passing us by".

I think anyone who enters this debate has never lived in a really bad place. I use to refuse to go to cities like Houston or Dallas because it made going back to my dumpy secluded town depressing. It was easier on you and your family not go through it.
