Sampson, a 6-foot-5, 191-pound receiver from Grand Prairie, Texas, committed to Tulsa before head coach Todd Graham left for Pitt and ended up signing with North Texas, where he was redshirted in 2011 and did not play in 2012. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

I guess this was not too unexpected. I have wondered if there may be some already on the roster who may be asked to change positions to wide receiver. One guy I'm thinking about is Knockus (sp?) Sashington. I think he asked to be moved to running back, but what are his odds for playing time there?

Not really news here... You could guess from his lack of playing time that Mac did not like something about Sampson... Whether it be practice or off the field stuff... Wish him luck at the new school
