The fact that they are getting absolutely drummed is completely irrelevant to the point. He's getting reps and playing as a redshirt freshman for an 8-4 bowl team out of the BIG12. Go back and read the previous posts in this thread and you'll see posts like this.

Or implying he'll transfer because who won't crack the rotation, etc. It's a very common statement on here by various posters on the board anytime a kid commits to a P5 over us or is even considering or being recruited by a P5. I'm just trying to show people that when our targets choose a bigger school they aren't submitting themselves to an automatic career on the bench.

Yeah, we have to sell guys based on what we have; talk to them about academic programs and beautiful women.

ESPN now listing him as the #1 defensive tackle in the Big 12 heading into the season.  I bring this up, not to bring up old wounds, but to show that you have to land some of these type of players to raise the program to new heights.  Mac could identify them at times, but rarely closed.  Hopefully Littrell will fare better.  This guy was basically set to come here when a Big 12 decommit  led to a chain reaction and his stock blew up.  The p5 like to stockpile these type of DT's because it increases their odds they will hit on a good one and in this case it paid off.

1. Charles Walker, Oklahoma: The freaky 6-foot-2, 304-pound junior can be a difference-maker from any spot on the Sooners’ defensive line. He came off the bench throughout the 2015 season and still established himself as one of OU’s most important weapons on defense, finishing with 36 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and six sacks. Walker has big potential and seems likely to go pro if he can stay healthy (he’s coming back from spring wrist surgery) and put together another impressive season.

My first thought when I saw this thread brought back up was, "Awesome, he's transferring in."  My second thought upon clicking on the ESPN link above was, "Who in the world names their child Poona?"
