So, is ATM expected to finish higher than 5th in the SEC next season, or was this year a fluke? I doubt UT can finish as high as tied for 3rd again next year in the Big 12 next year either until they address issues.

According to this, if #5 in the pre-season polls is 5th in the SEC, then yes.

Hard to be too much of a sleeper when you're preseason top 10 and Sugar Bowl champs ....but I don't think many people are gonna watch Louisville and I like them A LOT next year.

I guess since they have 5 SEC teams in the top 10, then decent chance they finish in 5th again. Not bad for ATM though. Better than many thought before this season.

And somehow the whorns are preseason #11. Ridiculous. They did nothing to deserve that. Probably same experts that project potential top 25 hoops teams.
