Oh! I like this game.

Would you rather:

...have rusty nails hammered into both of your kneecaps?

,or

...have someone tattoo the phrase "Tony Benford is the greatest!" on the front of your neck?

Let's all be honest, unless you are a Notre Dame fan, or an Alabama fan, you don't want either team to win.

This is soooo true. BUT, since my college football pseudo-credo has always been "it's always a great day in college football when Notre Dame and/or $MU lose" then it's "roll tide" for me.

Norte Dame. Simply because then the guy on one side of the recruiting list from Berglund would have won the Heisman while the guy on the other side won the national title.

Surely just a decent QB is sandwiched in between...

Right?

I'll be pulling for the Irish in this one, but like some other posters...I think "bama may just win it.

I hope the tide rolls, and I think they will.

I have never understood the national infatuation with one of the random catholic schools in Indiana. Because they won in leather melmuts and have a network in their hip pocket? Meh.

As tough as it is to see yet another SEC champion crowned, I would rather see that.

Good news is bama appears to be the better team. Guess we will see tonight.

Been a Tennessee fan since I was born over there, started following them and the conference intently in 2001. Torn because bama is our rival (kinda one-sided) but I'll always pull for the SEC as long as they aren't playing UNT.

Just curious, what makes saban any worse than any of the other successful coaches out there? Douce-wise?

Nothing, but the other douche coaches aren't in the game, so they cannot be rooted against. Just a theory.

Well, since you asked...I really am not a ND fan, but I tend to like ND due to several friends who graduated from there (who are passionate about the place but don't tend to knock anyone else in doing so), the fact that they tend to graduate their athletes (not just in football but overall), the fact that their academic standards are fairly decent, the history of the place, the fact that their alumni and fans actually do support the place through thick or thin, the fact that it is a pretty small school, enrollment-wise, taking on the bigger enrollment schools successfully, the fact that you see ND alums and fans actually wearing ND gear, etc., etc.

No biggie...just like them better than "Bama....again, I do think it would be more than a small upset if ND actually did beat 'Bama, but I hope it happens.
