Vito kicking UNT in the nuts again
Here’s a couple of North Texas/DR-C fun facts. At one time, the DR-C beat writer was a guy names Jerry Reeves, like the popular country/novelty song singer. He and I had a fairly “out in the open” feud in the Letters to the Editor column. He was very critical of North Texas Athletics. Randy Cummings covered North Texas for a long time. When he left, I wrote in my Letter to the Editor note about Jerry Reeves, “Where is Randy Cummings when you need him ?” Randy is the official scorer at almost every North Texas home basketball game. He’s the handsome man in the black and white striped shirt.- 1
