If he graduated from Louisville last semester then he can transfer without sitting a year, ala Garrett Gilbert to SMU. I think the rule is your graduate work needs to be in something your current school doesn't offer.

Absolutely; obviously comes from a well-coached defensive staff at Louisville and has some experience on a team with a lot of talent. The depth in the secondary could all of a sudden be a strong point in 2013. I hope Zed becomes an impact player here with the speed he demonstrated on that kickoff.

Quite possibly, but I think GIlbert took something like 27 hours his last semester at Texas so he could transfer. Craziness.
