Just make sure you're doing it in a way approved by the Fry Apostles. Those who saw the man in action, in person, can email you a pdf copy of the rulebook.

This is good to hear, because the "act" as you call it by some sure seems close to jumping ship....ummm...wagon! The old saying that with friends like this you don't need any enemies comes to mind. But, I'll take this as it is written and just hope it is, in fact, true for the vast majority. Appreciate the thought here bowler.

tough crowd.

With all due respect... You're not going to get an overwhelmingly positive response by telling a group of fans who've been around long enough to get their nuts kicked up into ther stomachs by telling them to jump onto a wagon you've been riding since your son was recruited. We all want what you're selling.... But at some point pessimism becomes a nut shielding maneuver.

A true fan is one who is still in the wagon cheering after the wheels have fallen off and the horses that were dragging it died.

Who said it would be easy? However, I agree it's best to keep your legs crossed while onboard the UNT wagon.

GO MEAN GREEN!

I love pity parties!

I'm with you Trussbussdad. Even though it hurts like hell sometimes to be a North Texas fan, I believe that we have a pretty good core coming back next season along with new QB who has tons of potential. My biggest concern is WR. I hope some of those redshirts are pushing themselves to get better with the mindset to contribute next year.

Mean Green Texan...not directing this toward anyone special...just making an observation. I think next year is going to be fun. Fun meaning wins I too want to ride this wagon with all yall too....all the way to many bowl games in the future. My middle son is actually starting his initial recruiting process and shows some favoritism towards the MEAN GREEN. Think big brother is sitting on him....LOL

Have a Merry Christmas and hope to meet you on the tailgate next year.

Tell us more about baby bro...

There are a lot things worse in this world than optimism.

Amen, brother...been preaching that around here for a good bit of time.

Now I understand why the Greeks got removed from the hill.

A win over Georgia is impossible. Ball State, Ohio, and Tulsa are iffy but only BSU is at home. The rest are tossups to very winnable. Maybe you'll get to see more football inside the stadium this year.

Pretty sure myself and my fraternity brothers have been to more UNT sporting events than 95% of non greek students at UNT. Ive also traveled to Clemson, LSU, Houston, Hot Springs, Oklahoma City, and I plan to make the trip to Georgia and other C USA away games. Greek life does more for UNT athletics than a lot of people think.

Gave you a minus 1 by mistake. I too would like to hear more about younger Trussell, especially if he's on the defensive line. ;)

How dare you?!? I think he's actually a DT or DE, but we'll let the elder Truss answer that for us

I gave him a +1 to balance it out.

Thank you sir

Thank you for your service, Marine!

And, my UNT experience says you are correct regarding UNT's Greeks.

The comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. I agree with you about the Greeks but I was truly hacked when, throughout the game, I could look between the student side and the wing zone and see forty people on the hill partying instead of being inside the stadium.

Fraternities do good things for the university and the community but their leadership needs to start the party earlier and lead them all inside for the game. I was often reminded that the irresponsible act of one brother reflected not only on the fraternity but on the entire fraternity system.

With all due respect, there are a few on here, the vocal minority, that go ape shit over every little thing without using a dose of reality. It is nice to have some optimism around here for a change. I would expect nothing less from a player or his parents.

By the way, many of us have been fans way before your nuts develop and dropped and see the positive change in this program. Last year was just a bump in the road.

Younger....middle Trussbuss. 6'4", 180 DE. Target weight for fall is 210-220. Sounds like a lot, but Martins strength coach put 30 lbs on big Trussbuss in 4 months with diet and lifting. (there is some girth in the family) Middle Buss will be a jr this upcoming year. Only 15 will not be 16 till 7/4 so he is young for his age. Will be a busy summer getting him to camps. Martin has a history of making some pretty good DE's....hope it rubs off.
