Sounds kinda like what we would all say about Dello around here.
We're likely gonna need a little more offensive production from Watson than what we got out of Dello, but if he's that kind of guy, I think we're all really going to like him.
It would be pretty dumb if it weren't the case, that's for sure.
Again, we have no idea how much $ he's looking at, but if it's significant, and I were in his shoes when I was 19-20, I would have definitely done the same thing. That's not his fault.
Hate the system all you want, but it's unfair to hate the players for taking advantage of it.
The article and player comments seem to suggest that due to pending House vs. NCAA antitrust settlement there is an outside chance additional eligibility is granted and the recommendation is to enter the portal to keep their options open. I suppose if an additional year is granted, they could return/stay at their current school and not have to enter the portal or is entering the portal the only way to keep their options open?
