I would be shocked if UT hired Harsin. I would imagine Art Briles and Gary Patterson would be primary targets.

The guy was calling the plays for two BCS wins by Boise State and running the offense there. Mack didn't think he could handle it and split the job with AppleDumplin.

He couldn't handle it...and neither can Applewhite. Facing big conference speed once a year versus almost very week is a different world. Texas losing 4+ for three years in a row with the type of recruits they get is ridiculous.

The best thing you can say about Harsin is that he's back in his comfort zone.
