What the ????

Brett is wrong about four returning starters. There are only three but there are already twelve on scholarship and three verbally committed to the offensive line. Maybe there are only eleven since Grant Shaw wasn't on the weight training list.

I can understand wanting to improve your line, if possible, but if the two Jucos are taken then it seems as if you must say 'no room' to two of your three commitments. If Micah Thompson can be moved back to the defensive line maybe that opens up one more spot. Furthermore, LaChris Anyiam is the only senior-to-be. It's very possible that these two JCs are starters...in fact they should be because you don't give scholarships to Jucos to ride the bench.

My concern is that there are other positions that need shoring up worse than the OL. At some point enough has to be enough.

OK I hope Anyiam is a stud ----- that would be a plus ---

My point is that Mac said NFL scouts are already talking about Antonio Johnson....he's a big time talent and size kid. He's a legit D-I offensive tackle

The o-line was great this year, and you have to have those guys. But if you don't have playmakers it doesn't matter. To turn around a program you have to have an above par system and/or recruit well. Not sure this staff has either. We will see.
