You WAY over rate the MAC--watch how they do against the SBC in the three bowl matchups. The Big East this year is light years ahead of where the nBE of next year will be. The MWC all depends on whether Boise and SDSU come to their senses and return.

I'd switch CUSA with Sun Belt. The SBC was 6-2 against CUSA this season.

If you want to go based on this season alone, then the MAC would be the best out of all those conferences, and C-USA would be the worst.

Actually the WAC is the highest rated non power conference and I don't think anyone wants their future.

Conferences are so volatile, their current ratings mean little. CUSA was awful this year but the Belt 6-2 record against them is not all that impressive when you look at the teams involved. The Belt was 1-0 over USM and UAB and 2-0 over Tulane and Memphis. Teams with a combined record of 9-39.

CUSA loses 6 of their current 12 teams and the Belt will lose at least 4 of their current 10. So current comparisons are meaningless.

The MWC that seems to have gained great allure because no one wants to stay in the watered down CUSA is a poor option for most unless there is more shuffling. With all the changes, NT step up to CUSA is a much smaller step than anticipated but to have to remain in the Belt would have just about killed the program.
