12/26: Little Ceasars Pizza Bowl --> Western Kentucky (4-4/7-5) / Central Michigan

12/28: AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl --> Louisiana Monroe (6-2/8-4) / Ohio

1/6: GoDaddy.com Bowl --> Kent State / Arkansas State (7-1/9-3)

NOT BOWLING: Middle Tennessee (6-2/8-4)

For the life of me I can't understand why MTSU is staying home this bowl season, and WKY is bowling with a worse conference record.

If the circumstances/situation (noted in the link above) are true then it is a sad day... and just one more reason it's good to be NT and heading to CUSA in 2013.

It doesn't help when your conference commissioner ticks off the bowl committee.

For the life of me I can't understand why MTSU is staying home this bowl season, and WKY is bowling with a worse conference record.

Being that we're in the Sun Belt, bowl committees may be more impressed with non-conference wins. Just sayin'.

feel bad for them considering the NCAAholes gave a waiver to Ga Tech to go bowling at 6-7, before we bring up our first bowl game we at least won our conference.

As previously mentioned,you can't lose to a 1aa school and expect a bowl bid. Thats what kept W.K. out of a bowl last year. Plus, MTSU is leaving the Belt, W.K. is staying. I think the Belt only had 4 bowl opportunities,and the Commissioner and Conference Presidents pushed for W.K. over MTSU. Just a guess.
