Has it happened again in Florida

An unarmed African-American teenager was shot and killed in Florida by a person claiming self defense because he "felt threatened."

Seventeen-year-old Jordan Russell Davis and three of his friends were listening to music in their car parked outside a convenience store in Jacksonville, Florida. Michael Dunn pulled up next to them and asked the group of teens to turn down the music.

We don't know exactly what happened next. A confrontation ensued, and 45-year-old Dunn allegedly took out a gun and shot eight or nine times into the teenagers’ car. Dunn's attorney has claimed that the teenagers had a shotgun in the car, but Jacksonville police said no weapon was found in the car.

No excuse for firing 8-9 shots into a car, especially if no gun was found. Just another idiot who shouldn't have had a gun in the first place.

But, but Michael Dunn's lawyer says he was acting as a responsible shooter by hauling off after putting a mag into the side of the vehicle Davis was in/around!

A 68-year-old man who had recently put up a fence outside his home because he was tired of drug dealers using his property to conduct business was found shot to death in his home late Sunday night, while a fatal shooting claimed the life of another man in his mid-30s just hours later to put the city’s murder toll at 436 this year. Chicago Police are investigating whether the first murder was retaliation for erecting the fence.

The deaths capped a murderous weekend of violence where six people were killed and another 14 wounded by gunfire and following reports the city’s crime had slowed down after brutal first quarter of the year that saw a 60 percent rise in the homicide rate, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The city is statistically more lethal to Americans than war-torn Afghanistan, where 271 Americans have died this year....."
