Also, if we are in the same setup with other AAC/MWC/pac/Leftbehinds, then I think it would be no different, support-wise. It’s not leaving I-A in 1983, where the SWC/Big 8 were dominating CFB rankings for the previous 20 years and we decided that playing Double Directional Louisiana schools and SFA and Sam Houston was just fine. That we have any fans that graduated from here before 1995 is amazing. The school literally nuked the program’s support and made t-shirt fans out of our alumni. -

Around the League / UNT Opponents
Its an algorithm based on team efficiency over value of opponents. It is not really a power ranking, its more of a fluid formula that takes the entire season to reveal itself (it makes more sense in late February then early December). It would be interesting to see a tournament bracket based on NET rankings vs one based on committee seed rankings. -
