this was the first game with a new coach against what will probably be a top 15 team and our starters have really only had 6 games together.

they looked way better than us, but they've had their system in place and are really good. plus, we couldn't hit anything tonight.

we were 22-76 (29%) from the field, 2-17 (12%) from 3 and 5-10 from the line. we almost had more fouls than made shots (20). we won't have a worse shooting night the rest of the year than we did tonight.

give this team a few weeks to gel (hopefully less) and i think you'll see a much, much better product. this doesn't bode well for the pre-season nit, but the season will end up where we want it.

My biggest concern in this shellacking is for Chris Jones. It had to be his least productive outing possibly since he's been playing basketball. I hope that he recovers soon because he's the key to this year's success.

No Patton, Holmen not good on ankjle, Coleman in doghouse still sounds like recipe for disaster as the guys learn new coaching philospohy and defense.
